The first Elemento systems are already forcing the platform to solve hard problems: shared ownership, offline behavior, mobile delivery, resilient mail transport, federation, delegation, audit, and cross-module contracts.
The goal is deliberately unreasonable: build technology with the experience people associate with the most expensive products in the world, engineer it to perform on practical infrastructure, and price it so ordinary organizations can actually have it.
Adoption should not be an ultimatum. Keep what works. Replace what doesn’t. Where a useful API, protocol, connector, or bridge exists, Elemento should be able to participate.
No platform literally integrates with everything. Our rule is more useful: if a system gives us a responsible way to interoperate, Elemento should be designed to meet it there.
Run Elemento where it makes sense for your organization. Infrastructure should be an implementation decision, not a product prison.
Microsoft can participate. Google can participate. Existing SMTP, storage, identity, and infrastructure can participate. Elemento does not punish you for owning something we did not make.
Elemento is the argument that the software running a business should share a common language without forcing the business into a common vendor. General-purpose modules, industry modules, and outside systems should be able to work together — beautifully, powerfully, and affordably.
